Description
Patients receiving anthracyclines after stopping trastuzumab may have increased risk of cardiac dysfunction due to trastuzumab's long washout period. Avoid anthracycline-based therapy for up to 7 months after stopping trastuzumab; if used, closely monitor cardiac function.

Trastuzumab's long washout period may potentiate cardiac dysfunction when anthracyclines are administered subsequently
