7.4 Metoclopramide While antiemetics may be indicated for patients receiving atovaquone and proguanil hydrochloride tablets, metoclopramide may reduce the bioavailability of atovaquone and should be used only if other antiemetics are not available [see Clinical Pharmacology (12.3) ] .
